Meaningful work. On your terms. As a self-employed ADHD Assessor with Oxford Autism & ADHD Centre (part of the Clinical Partners Group), you’ll deliver remote Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments for children and young people, as part of specialist child and adolescent mental health services. Our clinicians are experienced mental health professionals who work with us to deliver the highest standards of patient care.
You will play a key part in identifying ADHD in patients and providing thorough diagnostic reports that will support patients and families in accessing the right care and support. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical network, using diagnostic tools and assessment techniques to evaluate ADHD symptoms, analyse assessment results and create accurate diagnostic reports. You'll also provide clear and compassionate feedback to patients and their families.
Why partner with us? Clinical Partners is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of ADHD services, working with both NHS and private patients. As demand for ADHD diagnosis continues to grow, we are focused on expanding access while delivering the highest clinical standards. We give self-employed clinicians the flexibility and support to focus on what matters most - delivering safe, effective ADHD care.
Our approach is built on respect for clinical expertise and the belief that meaningful care happens when clinicians are trusted to practise independently, with the right structures around them. You won't be managed to targets or minimum hours. Instead, you will be supported by robust systems, experienced clinical leadership and clearly defined NICE-aligned pathways, giving you the confidence to practise independently while knowing you are part of a clinically-led organisation focused on delivering meaningful care.
Our streamlined patient pathways are designed in line with practice-based evidence to retain quality and make them as efficient as possible, while continuing with our commitment to safe, effective and personalised care. You will be provided with clinically suitable patients, triaged by our experienced team. We take care of the appointment booking, patient questionnaires, and administration, leaving you free to focus on what you do best: patient care.
Who are we looking for? We’re looking to engage experienced Oxford based ADHD assessors, with a minimum of approximately two years’ experience in ADHD Diagnostic Assessments for children and young people, who are confident delivering remote assessments. This position is based at our Oxford clinics in Headington and Garsington, where you will work directly with patients onsite. Due to the nature of the role, reliable transport is required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified healthcare professional (e.g. Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Mental Health Nurse) with current registration.
- Training and relevant experience in conducting ADHD Assessments.
- In-depth knowledge of ADHD symptoms, diagnostic criteria and assessment tools, including experience using the DIVA/Young DIVA assessment model.
Equality, diversity and safeguarding: Clinical Partners is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment where people feel respected and supported. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified clinicians. This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with our commitment to safeguarding and patient safety.
Your practice. Our support. If you’re looking for a self-employed assessor role that offers the flexibility, support and opportunity to deliver meaningful ADHD care, we’d love to hear from you.
