We are looking for an energetic person to engage with communities to secure new partnerships with the local and national centres. The successful candidate will develop relationships with new and existing organisations to reach out to the wider community.

About Us: Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) is an established UK registered charity that has been operating for over 26 years. The objective of this trust is to generate funds for helping in the treatment of cancer in 3rd World countries. Our hospitals serve all segments of society without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, national origin, or sex, and treating patients without regard to ability to pay. You would be joining our dedicated team to make a difference.

About You: You will be a credible, motivated self-starter who is able to take the lead in reaching out to the UK communities and Mosques. You would be a strong team player with an ability to influence others using clear, candid communication. You will have a proven track record in developing and implementing strategy to secure successful new relationships and drive income growth. The successful candidate would be an educated person with the ability to build relationships with organisations and senior decision makers.

You would be responsible for:

  • Engaging communities and mosques
  • Developing a large volunteer base and running local hubs
  • Setting up and developing website sections/resources to support community and volunteer development
  • Collating stories and media to support wider marketing
  • Contacting centres and communities to present IKCA and develop relationships
  • Running fundraising initiatives and small events
  • Running Ramadan campaign seasonal activities

The role will require some travelling, meetings and presentations. You will be an owner of a car and a full driver licence.
