Imagine streamers seamlessly hosting interactive worlds, viewers collaborating or competing in real time, and audiences influencing gameplay like never before. We want you to help us build the future of live, interactive gaming!

As our Producer & QA Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our game development process, ensuring our teams stay on track, on budget, and delivering a polished player experience. You’ll play a critical role in guiding the production of our games while also maintaining high quality standards throughout the development lifecycle. You’ll own everything from sprint planning to bug triage, serving as a central communication hub for the team, while also establishing processes that prevent issues before they arise.

You Will:

  • Production Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage game development projects from concept to release, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Run Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Track project milestones and manage risk, identifying potential bottlenecks and keeping the team on track.
  • Act as a central communication hub between technical designers, artists, engineers, and QA, ensuring a seamless production process.
  • Implement best practices for production, including task management, resource allocation, and efficient workflows.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including roadmaps, production timelines, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure quality standards are met by coordinating regular playtesting sessions and feedback loops.
  • Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
    • Design, implement, and maintain QA processes, including test plans, bug tracking, and reporting systems.
    • Conduct hands-on testing of in-development features, ensuring both technical stability and enjoyable gameplay.
    • Identify, log, and prioritise bugs, working closely with the development team to resolve critical issues.
    • Establish a comprehensive testing strategy, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
    • Collaborate with developers to create automated test scripts where possible to improve efficiency.
    • Organise regular playtest sessions with internal teams and community members, gathering actionable feedback.
    • Analyse player data and community feedback to identify pain points and proactively address quality concerns.

    Why You’re Made for This:

    • Experienced project manager with a track record in game production, ideally within a small or indie studio environment.
    • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Jira, and sprint planning.
    • Hands-on experience with QA processes, including bug tracking, test plan creation, and issue prioritisation.
    • Excellent communicator and facilitator, comfortable coordinating across diverse teams.
    • Highly organised, with exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.
    • Growth mindset and a passion for building something from the ground up.
    • Keen eye for detail and a player-first mindset, ensuring games are not just functional, but also fun and polished.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to wear multiple hats in a small, scrappy team.

    Bonus Points:

    • Familiarity with Twitch, streamer culture, or audience-driven gaming.
    • Understanding of production pipelines for multiplayer or real-time interactive games.
    • Previous experience in a player-facing or community management role.

While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply.
