We're looking for an Environment Artist to join the IMPRNT team on Hounded. You'll work directly with our Creative Director and Design Team to build atmospheric, believable, and gameplay-focused environments for Hounded, helping shape the visual quality and player experience of key levels.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of environment art for levels and gameplay spaces in Hounded
- Work closely with the Creative Director to deliver environments that support the game's visual direction
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure spaces are readable, functional, and enjoyable to explore
- Create high-quality environment assets using both traditional and efficient production workflows
- Help maintain consistency, quality, and organisation across level art content
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine 5
- Experience with Blender
- Experience creating materials in Substance Painter and/or Substance Designer
- Confident using a traditional high poly / low poly bake workflow
- Confident working with trim sheets
- Strong artistic eye for composition, material definition, and environmental storytelling
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote team
Bonus:
- Experience with lighting in Unreal Engine
- Experience working with Blueprints
- Experience working with Sequencer
This is a remote position, but applicants must be UK-based.
