Operating in central Paris since 1971, IDM combines traditional print and sustainable technologies to deliver beautiful print projects. Specialising in litho, foiling, embossing, silkscreen, packaging, fulfilment, and creative services. IDM partners with our client base globally via our satellite offices in NYC, London and Geneva. We are looking for a creative savvy business developer to help grow revenue and manage projects within the UK.
THE ROLE
As Business Developer, the role will be a key part of our UK Commercial team. Key focus areas will be targeting design agencies, luxury brands across W&J, Fashion, Spirits, Hospitality and Heritage Luxury in order to significantly grow the CRM and annual turnover. Through outreach, prospection, and managing incoming briefs, the role will involve developing concepts to cost approval and managing client relationships. Supported by the Production team, you will be responsible for liaising with clients during the conception, development and production stages.
KEY TARGET INDUSTRIES
We are recruiting candidates with strong technical and commercial backgrounds. Existing relationships and experience working with groups such as; LVMH, Diageo, Pernod Ricard, Kering, William Grant and Beam Suntory, either directly or through agencies. The role will also be responsible for developing in sectors such as Watches & Jewelry, Cosmetics, Fragrances, Hospitality, Real Estate and Legal and Financial Services.
KEY MISSION
- Represent Imprimerie du Marais during daily sales activities, industry events, and trade shows.
- Build a qualified portfolio of new contacts through proactive prospecting.
- Consolidate and expand existing customer portfolio.
- Liaise with clients throughout the conception, development, and production stages of each project.
- Collaborate with production teams in the UK and France to ensure quality and deadline compliance.
- Maintain accurate data within our CRM (Pipedrive) and report on results.
- Coordinating UK sign-off on marketing initiatives (content, event, mailings).
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of successful commercial experience, ideally in B2B or within luxury.
- Strong existing network within our target industries.
- In-depth technical knowledge of print and packaging production.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to diverse client profiles.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Pipedrive, Slack, and Trello.
- Experience working alongside graphic designers or experience in designing.
COMPENSATION & CONDITIONS
- Full-time position (Monday-Friday) based in London.
- Salary dependent on experience.
- Performance-based bonus and project commissions.
- 28 days holiday (excluding public holidays) and work-based pension scheme.
- Company-covered travel and phone expenses.
