We’re working with a well established automotive company in York, recognised for delivering high quality vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are now looking to expand their workshop team with the addition of a skilled Vehicle Technician. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles to high industry standards.
- Diagnose faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional repair requirements.
- Carry out repairs and component replacements in line with technical procedures.
- Prepare vehicles to required standards prior to handover.
- Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
Experience Required
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills.
- Ability to follow technical repair instructions and procedures.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to high standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a positive team focused approach.
You’ll receive a competitive salary of £35,500 – £52,000 depending on experience, alongside uncapped bonus opportunities and enhanced overtime rates to increase your earnings.
