Our well-respected client is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join their busy office. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors and telephone enquiries, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression while providing administrative support across the firm. This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, a proactive and professional approach and the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer and process all incoming telephone calls promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
- Accurately record and relay messages, ensuring effective communication throughout the firm.
- Provide telephone support to Directors and other members of staff as required.
- Welcome clients and visitors in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the firm.
- Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy, organised, and professional environment at all times.
- Act as a key representative of the firm’s values, image, and commitment to excellent client service.
- Input and maintain accurate time recording information.
- Carry out a range of clerical and administrative duties to support the smooth running of the office.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as reasonably required.
- Ideally previous experience in a reception, customer service, or administrative role is desirable.
- Excellent telephone manner with strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, friendly, and confident when dealing with clients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when recording information and completing administrative tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
