We are supporting an established business seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales & Operations Manager to lead the day to day operations during an exciting period of investment, expansion and growth. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of business performance. You'll play a pivotal role in driving commercial success, improving customer experience and delivering strategic business initiatives with the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through performance related rewards.
Key Responsibilities- Take full ownership of day to day operations, ensuring consistently high operational standards
- Manage, develop and motivate staff to achieve business objectives and commercial targets
- Drive sales growth, revenue performance and customer acquisition
- Improve customer retention and identify opportunities to increase repeat revenue
- Manage full P&L responsibility, ensuring strong financial performance and disciplined cost control
- Monitor and manage KPIs, budgets, targets and overall business performance
- Deliver monthly reporting, debtor management and financial oversight
- Implement and improve systems, processes, KPIs and operational efficiencies
- Identify and develop new income streams and business growth opportunities
- Work closely with business owners to shape and deliver the wider growth strategy
- Take ownership of decision making, driving improvements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, partners and customers
- Previous experience in a commercial management or operational leadership role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive business growth
- Customer focused with outstanding communication skills
- Financial understanding including budgeting and performance management
- Experience managing KPIs and delivering operational improvements
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- Ability to lead change and manage multiple priorities
In return, you will receive a basic salary of £50,000 per annum plus performance bonus taking you up to £85,000 per annum and genuine opportunities for career progression.
