About The Role

We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused HR & Recruitment Advisor to join our growing HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys a varied role and is looking to further develop their career across recruitment, employee relations and HR administration.

Working closely with the Group HR Director and managers across the business, you will support the full employee lifecycle, helping to attract, retain and develop our people.

From coordinating recruitment and onboarding to supporting employee relations cases and maintaining accurate HR records, you will play a key role in delivering an efficient, professional and people-centred HR service.

Key Responsibilities As a HR & Recruitment Advisor

  • Recruitment
  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process across the Group.
  • Prepare and advertise vacancies using appropriate recruitment channels.
  • Screen applications and manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
  • Arrange interviews and assessment activities.
  • Conduct interviews both virtually and face to face.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure an efficient and positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and support new starters through their induction.
  • Maintain recruitment records and produce regular reports on vacancies, recruitment activity and hiring outcomes.
  • Employee Relations
  • Provide first-line HR advice and administrative support to managers
  • Support employee relations processes, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management cases.
  • Prepare letters, meeting invitations and supporting documentation.
  • Attend meetings where required and produce accurate, confidential minutes.
  • HR Administration
  • Manage the new starter process, including preparing offer letters and contracts, obtaining references and RTW documentation
  • Deliver HR induction sessions for new employees.
  • Coordinate the leaver process, including correspondence, HR system updates and exit interviews.
  • Process employee changes such as salary amendments and contract variations.
  • Produce HR information required for pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and tender submissions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company procedures.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to HR queries from employees and managers.

About You

  • Have previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Advisor, Recruitment or People Team role.
  • CIPD qualification
  • Possess a good understanding of HR processes and current UK employment legislation.
  • Have experience supporting employee relations cases.
  • Be highly organised, with excellent administrative and time management skills.
  • Be able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
