Our client is a long established and highly respected business operating within the fuel solutions sector in North Leeds. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced and commercially driven Fuel Solutions Account Manager to join their successful team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous fuel card, fuel solutions or related industry experience who enjoys building strong customer relationships, developing new business opportunities and delivering tailored solutions to commercial clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts whilst proactively identifying new business opportunities, helping customers maximise efficiency, control costs and benefit from the company's range of fuel solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing an exceptional level of service throughout the customer journey.
- Develop and grow a portfolio of commercial customers, identifying opportunities to increase account value and generate additional revenue.
- Promote fuel related solutions, understanding customer requirements and recommending the most suitable products and services.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity and relationship building.
- Manage customer enquiries, quotations and account reviews in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify opportunities to maximise customer retention and encourage long term partnerships.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets, contributing to the continued growth of the business.
- Maintain accurate customer records and effectively manage your sales pipeline.
Experience Required
- Previous experience within fuel card sales, fuel solutions, fleet services, fuel distribution or a similar B2B sales environment.
- Proven experience developing new business opportunities whilst managing and growing existing customer accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- A proactive, self motivated and target driven approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Confident telephone manner and ability to build credibility with customers at all levels.
