We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful and well established business seeking a hands on HR Manager (Part-time) to become their trusted people specialist. This is a standalone role, offering a rare opportunity to take ownership of the full HR function while working closely with senior leadership and key decision makers. You’ll be the go to person for all things HR, providing practical support, guidance and challenge across a diverse workforce.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll oversee the entire employee lifecycle. This is a role where you’ll be trusted to identify opportunities, introduce new ideas and influence positive change.

You’ll be Responsible For

  • Managing employee relations matters from start to finish, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues
  • Providing pragmatic HR guidance to managers and helping develop their people management capability
  • Leading recruitment activity across a variety of roles and supporting workforce planning initiatives
  • Reviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and best practice
  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives
  • Monitoring HR metrics and using data to support business decisions
  • Driving continuous improvement across HR processes and systems
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working independently and is comfortable operating as the sole HR professional within a business. You may already be an HR Manager, or perhaps you’re a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner ready to take the next step in your career.
