Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to join a growing independently owned business? This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist consultancy based in Harrogate. Operating across projects, the business supports clients throughout the region. Due to continued growth and the award of a new project, they are now seeking a Part Time Project Administrator to support the coordination and delivery of ongoing works. This role will play a key part in ensuring projects run smoothly from initial customer contact through to completion and certification.
Working within a friendly office environment, this position would suit somebody highly organised, confident communicating with people and able to proactively manage multiple moving parts at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact individuals who have made project applications
- Conduct initial conversations and questionnaires to assess suitability for the programme
- Coordinate appointments and manage diaries for internal team members
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and the internal workforce via telephone and email
- Ensure projects continue progressing smoothly by proactively following up outstanding actions and documentation
- Collate, manage and maintain accurate project records, compliance documentation and certification paperwork
- Upload and submit required information onto external industry certification systems
- Provide general administrative and back office support
- Monitor internal systems to ensure all project information remains accurate and up to date
- Work closely with the team to ensure a high standard of customer service and project delivery
Experience Required
- Previous administration, office coordination or project support experience preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident speaking with customers and stakeholders over the phone
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Comfortable using internal systems and Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work proactively and use initiative
