A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Payroll Administrator to join a successful and established organisation with over 25 years of proven service. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working in a varied finance environment. The successful candidate will take responsibility for payroll administration while also supporting the wider finance team with bookkeeping, reconciliations and day to day financial processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation.
- Maintain payroll records and manage payroll related administration.
- Respond to payroll queries and support employees with payroll matters.
- Support day to day finance and accounting activities.
- Assist with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Process purchase and sales ledger invoices.
- Use accounting systems including Xero and Sage to maintain financial information.
- Produce reports and support finance administration using Excel.
- Maintain organised records and ensure accuracy across payroll and finance processes.
- Provide general support to the wider finance team as required.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a payroll position with a strong understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and reliable approach with strong communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport.
