We're working with a well established dealership in Swanland, recognised for supplying and supporting leading garden and ground care equipment brands. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Garden Machinery Sales Advisor to join their friendly and experienced team. This role would suit someone with experience using or working with garden, turf or ground care machinery. Sales experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities Of Garden Machinery Sales Advisor
- Provide advice and support to customers on a range of garden machinery and ground care equipment.
- Sell and promote machinery, accessories and related products within the showroom environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Conduct on-site machinery demonstrations and customer handovers.
- Provide customers with training and guidance on the safe operation of equipment.
- Use company sales systems and CRM software to manage customer interactions and sales activity.
- Ensure machinery is invoiced prior to delivery and support payment follow up where required.
- Attend trade shows, customer events and promotional activities.
- Promote leading brands including John Deere, Honda, Husqvarna, Hayter, Mountfield and Stihl.
- Assist with stock checks, pricing, merchandising and general depot duties.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures and company standards.
Experience Required
- Knowledge of garden, turf, ground care or agricultural machinery.
- Previous experience using machinery such as mowers, handheld equipment or robotic mowing solutions.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and professional approach.
- Comfortable using computers, digital systems and CRM software.
- Ability to build rapport and develop long term customer relationships.
- Reliable, honest and team oriented attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
