This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail oriented finance professional to join a well established organisation. The role involves supporting core accounting activities, financial reporting, data analysis and business insight generation. Working as part of the finance team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, producing meaningful reporting and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to help drive informed business decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day to day accounting activities including month end processes and financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures
  • Analyse financial data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support business performance
  • Work with accounting systems to ensure data integrity, accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards including Power BI reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding and support decision making
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements
  • Ensure financial information is accurate, timely and presented in a clear and actionable format

Experience Required

  • Previous experience within a finance, accounts or accounting role
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Experience working with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
  • Power BI experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business

In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary of £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, hybrid working following probation, a great benefits and holiday package and the opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and forward thinking finance team.
