We're supporting a well established and growing business operating within the technical engineering sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Graduate Sales & Account Executive to join their commercial team. This is a structured entry level role designed to develop you into a fully fledged Sales & Account Manager. You'll receive training, support and exposure across both inbound account management and proactive sales activity.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responding to inbound customer enquiries and producing quotations
- Learning how to manage customer accounts and build long term relationships
- Supporting existing clients with product information, pricing and availability
- Developing outbound communication skills by proactively contacting customers
- Identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities under guidance
- Working closely with internal teams to understand order processing and supply chains
- Building strong product knowledge within a technical/engineering environment
- Following up quotations and learning how to convert opportunities into sales
- Gaining exposure to commercial decision making, pricing and margin control
What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who has studied or is interested in areas such as:
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related disciplines)
- Science or Technical subjects
- Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations
We are also open to graduates from other disciplines who can demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in B2B sales. You should be:
- Confident communicating with people at all levels
- Interested in learning how commercial businesses operate
- Proactive, curious and willing to pick up the phone
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, structured environment
