This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail oriented finance professional to join a well established organisation. The role involves supporting core accounting activities, financial reporting, data analysis and business insight generation. Working as part of the finance team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, producing meaningful reporting and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to help drive informed business decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day to day accounting activities including month end processes and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures
- Analyse financial data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support business performance
- Work with accounting systems to ensure data integrity, accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards including Power BI reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding and support decision making
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements
- Ensure financial information is accurate, timely and presented in a clear and actionable format
Experience Required
- Previous experience within a finance, accounts or accounting role
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience working with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
- Power BI experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
