Are you a confident and driven salesperson who enjoys speaking to customers and building relationships? We are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join an established and growing business based in Bradford. This is a fully office based role suited to someone who enjoys a fast paced sales environment and is motivated by picking up the phone, speaking with prospective customers and converting opportunities into sales.
You will be responsible for proactively contacting prospective customers, identifying opportunities and developing relationships with new and existing contacts. This is a hands on sales role where your ability to communicate confidently, build rapport and close opportunities will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact prospective businesses by telephone to generate new sales opportunities
- Make outbound sales calls and confidently engage with prospective companies
- Identify business requirements and establish how the company's services can meet their needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing companies
- Follow up on leads, enquiries and previous conversations to maximise sales opportunities
- Manage your own pipeline of prospective business and maintain accurate records of activity
- Build rapport with decision-makers and develop relationships through regular contact
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards wider team objectives
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a sales focused role, ideally involving outbound telephone sales
- Someone who is confident picking up the phone and speaking with prospective businesses
- A proven ability to identify sales opportunities and convert conversations into new business
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to build rapport quickly over the telephone
- A commercially minded approach, with a genuine desire to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the confidence to ask for the sale
- Well organised, with the ability to manage a busy pipeline and follow up opportunities effectively
- Motivated by targets, commission and the opportunity to earn based on your own performance
