This is a key commercial support role within the sales and pricing function of the business. The Freight Forwarding Sales Support Executive will play a vital part in handling customer enquiries, preparing accurate quotations and supporting the development of new and existing business opportunities.

You will work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure pricing accuracy, strong customer communication and a consistently high level of service. Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for Ocean, Air, and Road Freight services
  • Support the external sales team with pricing and commercial information
  • Maintain and manage shared pricing and enquiry inboxes
  • Process customer bookings and update internal systems (e.g. freight management platforms)
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, agents and internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Monitor and follow up quotations to support conversion and revenue growth
  • Assist in resolving pricing queries and invoice discrepancies
  • Carry out market research and competitor analysis where required
  • Ensure all customer requirements are understood and met with a high level of service
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience within freight forwarding is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong numerical and commercial awareness with attention to detail
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proactive, organised, and customer focused approach
