Role: Semi – Senior Accountant Location: Keighley Salary: 28,000 – £45,000pa Type: Full-time Hybrid: Up to 2 days per week from home Our client, a well established accountancy practice, is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to partnerships and limited companies, with potential for progression. This position provides the opportunity to develop your expertise in a client focused practice where you will gain exposure to a varied range of work. Role and Key Responsibilities of the Semi-Senior Accountant: Managing client communications and addressing accounting related enquiries. Compiling financial accounts from various sources, including incomplete records and digital platforms. Preparing and filing corporate and personal tax returns. Setting up and maintaining new client profiles. Providing assistance with VAT submissions and bookkeeping tasks Undertaking miscellaneous projects and tasks as required. Skills and Qualifications: Prior UK based accountancy experience within a qualified firm of Accountants Proficiency in accounting software, Sage and Xero. Advanced working knowledge of Excel. Proven expertise in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Excellent communication, organisational, and attention to-detail skills. Strong ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and drive new business opportunities.
