Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (Flexible start time e.g. 8:30am - 4:30pm)
We are working with a well established and highly respected organisation known for delivering high quality projects and exceptional client service. Operating across a diverse portfolio of works nationally, the business prides itself on strong commercial management, efficient project delivery and long term client partnerships.
This is a predominantly office based role, focused on the commercial and management of projects including estimating, tendering and contract administration. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are commercially viable, accurately costed and effectively managed from enquiry through to completion. As a Contracts & Commercial Project Manager, you will take ownership of the full project lifecycle from tender stage through to final account, ensuring projects are commercially controlled, well coordinated and delivered in line with contractual and financial expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare quotations, cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Review drawings, specifications and client requirements to produce accurate pricing.
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion with a strong commercial focus.
- Monitor project costs, margins and overall financial performance.
- Review and administer contracts to ensure compliance with commercial and operational requirements.
- Identify, price and manage variations, risks and changes to scope.
- Coordinate with site teams, suppliers and subcontractors to support project delivery.
- Maintain accurate contract records, reports and project documentation.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Support planning and coordination of works alongside operational teams.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Estimator or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong background in estimating, tendering and cost control.
- Good understanding of contract management and commercial processes.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational, planning and multitasking skills.
- Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
- Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
