Job Title : Finance Reporting Analyst Location : Catterick Garrison Salary : £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Hours : Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Hybrid : 1 day per week from home This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail oriented finance professional to join a well established organisation. The role involves supporting core accounting activities, financial reporting, data analysis and business insight generation. Working as part of the finance team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, producing meaningful reporting and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to help drive informed business decision making. Key responsibilities of Finance Reporting Analyst: Support day to day accounting activities including month end processes and financial reporting Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures Analyse financial data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support business performance Work with accounting systems to ensure data integrity, accuracy and efficiency Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards including Power BI reporting Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding and support decision making Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies Support the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements Ensure financial information is accurate, timely and presented in a clear and actionable format Experience required: Previous experience within a finance, accounts or accounting role A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Experience working with accounting systems and financial reporting tools Power BI experience Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, hybrid working following probation, a great benefits and holiday package and the opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and forward thinking finance team.
