Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 17:30 pm
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and customer focused sales professional to join a well established and growing organisation in Thirsk. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts and building strong customer relationships across a designated territory. You will work with both commercial and private clients, promoting a comprehensive range of services while delivering exceptional customer service and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by proactively managing a designated sales territory
- Generate new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular contact and site visits
- Promote the company's full range of services and solutions
- Conduct customer meetings, site surveys and consultations to identify requirements
- Prepare quotations and provide suitable recommendations based on customer needs
- Work closely with local management to support customer retention and account development
- Reactivate dormant accounts and identify opportunities for business growth
- Maintain accurate customer records, activity reports and sales data
- Monitor sales performance against targets and implement strategies to maximise results
- Resolve customer queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Experience required:
- Proven experience within a sales or business development role
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Strong customer service focus and consultative sales approach
- Good organisational and administrative abilities
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Self motivated, proactive and results driven attitude
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
- Professional and personable approach to customer interactions
- Full UK driving licence
In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus an annual bonus and fully expensed company car.
