Temporary Laundry Production Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional service within our hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all linen and laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards. Previous experience is highly desirable, as it demonstrates familiarity with industry but not essential as full training will be provided This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and efficiency are valued.

Duties

• Collect, sort, and process laundry items including bed linens, towels, and guest clothing
• Operate laundry machinery such as pressing equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure all laundry is cleaned to the required quality standards and returned promptly for guest use
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area at all times
• Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as required to support overall operations

Skills

• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads of linen or laundry items
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and operate laundry equipment safely
• Friendly attitude with good communication skills and a team-oriented approach

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: £12.21 per hour
