We’re looking for an experienced
Dental Nurse to lead the nurses on-site within a range of services to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Meet the patients and prepare them for the procedure.
- Preparing the work area for patient treatment.
- Preparing dental materials and instruments for the dentist.
- Assisting the dentist during patient treatment.
- Cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments
- Disinfecting the work area and taking care of material used during treatment (instrument reprocessing).
- Managing the clinic’s appointments daily and shifts.
- Taking 3D scans under the dentist’s supervision.
- Looking after patient records - including making notes when the dentist is examining a patient.
- Performing clerical and administrative duties.
Requirements
- Previous dental nursery experience.
- Previous experience in patient care.
- Previous experience in the orthodontic industry will be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical policies and procedures governing teams duties
- Knowledge and proven practice in disinfection and sterilisation techniques.
- Friendly and gentle manner, ability to relate and give absolute care to our patients.
- Excellent organisational and management skills.
- Strong knowledge and use of PC and common software applications.
