Overview
Impington Village College is recruiting Level1 Teaching Assistants to work in our exceptional SEND department from September2026.
The role is part‑time, 32.5 hours per week (5 days), with a pro‑rated salary of £20,938‑£21,267 depending on points2‑3.
Responsibilities
- Support students with SEND in lessons, ensuring they meet their full potential.
- Deliver small‑group and individual interventions, while students participate in mainstream education.
- Lead training and CPD sessions for teaching assistants and teachers, sharing expertise.
- Assist with the implementation of EHCPs for nearly100 students.
- Collaborate with the Cavendish School and our Enhanced Resource unit for post‑16 provision.
Qualifications
- Level1 certification.
- Experience working with SEND students, including those with complex needs.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
