I am currently recruiting a highly proactive and tenacious Business Development Manager to join a renowned, high-end events and wedding venue in the Buckinghamshire / Hertfordshire area, set within stunning grounds and offering luxury accommodation for guests.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive sales / BD professional to play a key role in driving revenue growth and strengthening the venue's reputation as a market leader with tier 1 level weddings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across weddings, corporate events, and private functions, business summits, top level AGMs.
- Key account management and contracting of top tier Fortune 500 companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies and key partners.
- Conduct venue showrounds and present tailored event solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry showcases.
- Collaborate closely with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline reporting using CRM systems.
- Lead on strategic partnerships and high-value accounts.
- Contribute to pricing strategy and revenue planning.
About You:
- Proven experience in business development targeting new areas specifically, Tier 1 blue chip companies, post graduate education, business summits and top level AGMs.
- Strong commercial awareness and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A natural relationship builder with a proactive approach.
- Demonstrable experience contracting key accounts and leading sales initiatives.
