Job Description
Our client is a leading third party Loan Servicing and Loan Asset Management business. This market leading business works with a variety of different real estate lenders, from bulge bracket investment banks through to debt funds, and manages performing commercial real estate loans, NPL's and securitised products on behalf of their clients.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced individual into their Loan Asset Management team team to take responsibility for the day to day management of CRE loans on behalf of some of their key clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans secured by UK and European real estate investments.
- Collaborate with the client’s in-house asset management and legal teams, reviewing finance documents throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Provide ongoing support to the client’s origination team as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day management of each loan.
- Assist in creating financial models, tracking deliverables, and managing significant loan events as outlined in finance documents.
- Liaise with borrowers, facility agents, and representatives to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Help review waiver and modification requests, analyse impacts, and prepare recommendations for the client’s credit team.
- Coordinate with third-party advisors, borrowers, and lenders on drawdowns and funding recommendations.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in real estate debt, having knowledge of the European commercial real estate finance sector.
- Experience of managing CRE loans.
- Experience across both development and investment finance is beneficial.
- Solid analytical skills with interim to advanced level ability of Excel.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
