Are you an experienced SEN Data Officer with proven skills in Synergy and LiquidLogic case management systems? This is an excellent opportunity to support a forward-thinking local authority’s SEND service by leading the analysis, tracking and reporting of key performance data to improve outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

*

Oversee the quality, integrity and reporting of SEND data across the local area.

*

Manage and develop dashboards (Power BI preferred) to monitor statutory timescales, EHC assessments, and service performance.

*

Lead on DfE statutory returns, including SEN2, DBV, and other SEND-related submissions.

*

Work collaboratively with SEND Service Managers, Finance, and Education teams to provide evidence-based insight for strategic planning.

*

Maintain and improve data accuracy within Synergy and LiquidLogic, ensuring compliance with GDPR and FOI/SAR requirements.

*

Provide clear performance reports and presentations to senior leadership and partnership boards.

Essential Experience

*

Significant experience working within a Local Authority SEND Service or similar public-sector setting.

*

Expert knowledge of Synergy and/or LiquidLogic case management systems.

*

Strong analytical and reporting capability using tools such as Excel and Power BI.

*

Experience with statutory SEND reporting (SEN2, EHC tracking, and DfE data submissions).

*

Skilled at handling sensitive data and delivering insights to senior stakeholders.

The Offer

Day rate: £450–£500 (Inside IR35)

*

Location: Fully Remote (occasional in-person meetings may be required)

*

Contract: 3–6 months initially but likely to be an ongoing contract
