If you are looking for a new challenge and have a passion for Automation this is a great opportunity to join the growing Engineering Team at our clients highly Automated Distribution Centre that is easily commutable from Nottingham, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Doncaster.
We are looking for a confident Shift Automation Engineer who will be not only responding to breakdowns but also responsible for the planned maintenance schedule for the wide range of state of the art material handling equipment including, automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor systems, including cross belt and shoe sortation equipment, shuttles and end of line boxing and bagging machines to name a few.
Being part of the dedicated Automation team is a physically demanding position that will also require you to work at height, which you will receive full training on when you join the business.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Shift Automation Engineer

  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/C&G or Apprentice trained
  • A solid understanding of PLC s
  • Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience
  • Computer Literate
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Work proactively managing time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Confidently work at height.
