We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced automated distribution and logistics operation.

Working within a highly automated environment, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of conveyors including hanging garment conveyors, sortation systems, automated handling equipment, palletisers, bagger, labelling machines etc.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias with strong fault-finding abilities who enjoys working in a modern, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated distribution equipment
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise operational downtime
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, and automated systems
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Work with PLC-controlled systems and assist with basic fault diagnosis
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Collaborate with operations teams to maximise site performance and efficiency
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within an automated warehouse, distribution, FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics environment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working with conveyors, sortation systems, or automated handling equipment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits:

  • 3 Shift Pattern: Mornings, Afternoons, Nights
