We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced automated distribution and logistics operation.
Working within a highly automated environment, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of conveyors including hanging garment conveyors, sortation systems, automated handling equipment, palletisers, bagger, labelling machines etc.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias with strong fault-finding abilities who enjoys working in a modern, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated distribution equipment
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise operational downtime
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, and automated systems
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Work with PLC-controlled systems and assist with basic fault diagnosis
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Collaborate with operations teams to maximise site performance and efficiency
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
- Previous experience within an automated warehouse, distribution, FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience working with conveyors, sortation systems, or automated handling equipment
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- 3 Shift Pattern: Mornings, Afternoons, Nights
- 8 Hour Shifts
