We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our client's busy distribution centre on the outskirts of Birmingham.

This is a fast-paced environment, and you will not only be responsible for responding to breakdowns but also ensuring the planned preventative maintenance and service documentation is kept up to date.

There is a wide range of machinery on site including conveyors, picking and packing machinery, box erectors, banding machinery, palletisers to name a few.

We are looking for someone who is confident both electrically, mechanically, has good understanding of pneumatics and happy to take the lead on breakdowns when needed.

Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

  • Proven expertise in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • CMMS use
  • Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
  • Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements.
  • Perform routine preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Hands on ownership of issues
  • Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician
  • Minimum LEVEL 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification or Equivalent
  • Experience with fault finding, continuous improvements
  • Confident with Microsoft Office including word, excel, outlook etc
  • IOSH and knowledge of PROFINET, PROFIBUS would be an advantage
