We are looking for Apprentice Trained, Multi-Skilled Engineers with a Mechanical bias and a good understanding electrically to ensure safety standards and procedures are always prioritised. Working with the wider team, you will be maintaining a variety of machinery including conveyors, ovens, scales, sealers, packaging machinery, flow wrappers, box erectors and much more.

Key Responsibilities of a Shift Technician:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all machinery on site
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and diagnose faults effectively
- Maintain and repair conveyors, fryers, packaging machinery, and associated equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and performance
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
- Accurately record maintenance activities and report recurring issues
- Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime
Experience and Qualifications required for a Shift Technician:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Qualification, Time Served Apprenticeship is a must
- Ability to work safely electrically
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good manufacturing practices
- Previous experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG is desirable

- Annual Salary £58,900 (inclusive of shift allowance)
