We are looking for a confident Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our clients busy Distribution Centre in Corby. As part of the permanent NIGHTS team you will play a critical role troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems during overnight operations. With the team, you will be responding to breakdowns and managing a schedule of planned maintenance on a wide range of material handling equipment, conveyors, monorail, and palletisers, to name a few.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) during night shifts
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective repairs
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults across machinery and systems
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before failure
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards
- Liaise with day teams to ensure smooth handovers and continuity of work
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment when required
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Previous experience in a maintenance role within the Engineering sector
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Experience with CMMS systems
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary £49,226 increasing to £55,100 after probationary experience
- 4 on 4 off Permanent Nights
