Senior Maintenance TechnicianELEC BIAS3 Shift Pattern (8 Hour Shifts)Salary c£43,000 plus shift supplements We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our clients highly automated distribution centre based in Wakefield. You will need to have a strong electrical bias and previous experience in an Automated Distribution Centre is preferred but not essential. No previous senior or equivalent experience is needed, but you will need to be able to use initiative and take charge when required. Working with the wider Engineering Team, you will be involved in maintaining and improving a variety of automated equipment such as conveyors, high-speed packaging machinery, automated retrieval systems, palletisers and many more. You will be involved in both preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum. This is a key role in the business, and you will manage the maintenance operations of the facility ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.
