We are seeking a motivated and solutions-focused Maintenance Technician to join the growing Engineering Team within a leading global logistics organisation. As a Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and improving operational systems, automation equipment, and engineering processes across the logistics network. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, safe, and cost-effective engineering solutions that support world-class supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of engineering systems and automated equipment.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for technical issues.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist with project planning, equipment upgrades, and installation activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, maintenance reports, and performance data analysis.
- Support preventative maintenance programmes and reliability initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).
- Previous experience within logistics, manufacturing, distribution, automation, or a similar operational environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with automated systems, conveyors, robotics, or warehouse technologies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
