Shift Pattern 4 on 4 off Days and Nights

Are you looking for a new role that offers not only stability but career progression too? We have a great opportunity for a Shift Technician to join the established Engineering Team at a busy food manufacturing site in Lincoln.

We are looking for a proactive Mechanically Bias Shift Technician whose main responsibilities will be for the planned maintenance schedule and responding to breakdowns, keeping downtime to a minimum, ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the manufacturing equipment and state of the art packaging machinery. Key Responsibilities of a Shift Technician:
  • Quality Checks of maintenance activities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Standards at all times
  • Demonstrate hands on ownership and confidence when responding to breakdowns
  • Prioritise system faults
  • Accurately record work carried out
  • Collaborate with colleagues
  • Ensure CMMS is correctly updated
Experience and Qualifications required for a Shift Technician:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Qualification, Time Served Apprenticeship
  • Good understanding of Siemens / Allen Bradley
  • Good understanding of SCADA control systems
  • Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good manufacturing practices
Salary and Benefits of a Shift Technician:
  • Annual Salary £54,269 (inclusive of shift allowance)
  • 23 Days Annual Leave
  • Quarterly Incentive between £1,000- £3,000 annually (KPI dependant)
