We are looking for a proactive Multi Skilled / Automation Engineer to join the team at our clients state of the art and highly automated distribution centre located on the outskirts of Mansfield.
As an Automation Engineer you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of state of the art material handling equipment including, automated storage and retrieval systems, a wide range of conveyor systems, shuttles, cross belt and shoe sortation equipment, and end of line boxing and bagging machines.
Being part of the dedicated Automation team is a physically demanding position that will also require you to work at height, which you will receive full training on when you join the business. This is a great opportunity for ambitious engineers that are looking for career progression as this is a site that is continuing to invest and expand.
Key responsibilities for a Shift Automation Engineer:- Planned Routine Maintenance
- Respond breakdowns proactively to limit downtime taking ownership of issues.
- Strong Attention to detail
- CMMS use
- Service and repair of equipment on site
- Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
- willing to learn and adapt to role requirements.
- NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 Multi Skilled Engineer (ELEC BIAS)
- A solid understanding of PLC's
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience
- Computer Literate
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Work proactively managing time effectively.
- Ability to work independently.
- Confidently work at height.

Shift: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am
