The Role
As an Associate Consultant in one of our core markets, you will be tasked with establishing and building relationships with new clients, and placing talented candidates into new positions.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Meeting clients and candidates in both face-to-face and virtual environments – Many of our clients are based abroad (America, Europe, Asia etc.), so international travel is a strong possibility.
- Negotiating terms and contracts with prospective clients – these companies can have annual revenues of over £5B.
- Acting as a consultant to these clients – examples of this include advising on marketing strategy, methods to improve employee retention, streamlining hiring methods, and more.
- Interviewing and working closely with C-Suite and Executive level candidates to help them find their next long-term positions.
- Building cutting-edge databases to continue to position Imperium Global as a market leader in your specialist sector.
Your Career Progression
Imperium Global operate an 100% organic growth model. All of the Division Managers and Directors started out as Associate Consultants as no Managers are hired externally. Many Consultants become managers within 1 year.
Through this method, Imperium Global have developed a clear career progression pathway from entry level through to Managing Director. For those who evidence extremely high levels of performance, this can be achieved in under 5 years. This has happened in the past.
Internal Training Academy
Imperium Global run a bespoke internal training academy. This is led by our internal Learning and Development team (combined 60+ years in recruitment).
After 5 weeks of training, new Consultants will be in a position to be a 360 degree Consultant, with the ability to form new client relationships in their market, and place multiple candidates immediately.
Once the training programme is completed, Imperium Global run weekly internal training sessions to ensure everyone in the business continues to learn and grow.
