Part-Time Payroll Administrator
Location: Wilmslow
Employment Type: Part-time, permanent

Role Overview
An established accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Part-Time Payroll Administrator to support its Payroll Manager with the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.
The successful candidate will process client payrolls, administer pension submissions and respond to payroll-related enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payrolls of up to 80 payslips.
- Administer new starters, leavers, sickness, statutory leave and timecard entries.
- Complete National Minimum Wage checks.
- Onboard new payroll clients.
- Respond to enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
- Complete monthly pension uploads.
- Reconcile pension contributions and authorise payments within provider deadlines.
- Complete Pension Regulator compliance actions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records.
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, pension and GDPR requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years’ payroll experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of PAYE, pension and GDPR legislation.
- Familiarity with pension providers, workplace pension schemes and relevant tax treatment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communication and client-service skills.
- Ability to work accurately and meet strict deadlines.
Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Bureau and in-house payroll environments
- Director payrolls
- Holiday entitlement and enhanced pay
- Redundancy calculations
- Working Time Regulations and other HR matters affecting payroll
