This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated tax professional with strong advisory experience and a proven track record in Trusts and Estate Planning to play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services to a diverse client base.
The Role:
As a Mixed Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across both personal and corporate tax, providing proactive advice and ensuring compliance across all areas. You’ll also play a key part in developing the firm’s advisory offering and supporting senior leadership in shaping the firm’s tax strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and owner-managed businesses.
- Provide advisory support on a range of tax matters including Inheritance Tax, Trusts, Estate Planning, and Capital Gains Tax.
- Oversee the preparation and review of self-assessment and corporation tax returns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering practical and commercially focused tax advice.
- Support Partners with complex tax planning projects and corporate restructuring.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance best practice across the team.
About You:
- ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience in mixed tax.
- Proven background in personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
- Expertise in Trusts, Estate Planning, and IHT.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
