Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor to join our property team. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing
- Manage complex and high-value transactions, including acquisitions, sales, refinancing, and developments
- Draft and review a wide range of legal documents related to property law
- Handle distressed sales, including transactions led by insolvency practitioners and receivers (preferred but not essential)
- Work closely with clients, lenders, and agents to ensure timely and smooth completions
- Liaise with internal departments to provide well-rounded legal solutions
- Stay current with property law developments and regulatory changes
- Deliver excellent client service and contribute to the firm’s strong reputation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (NQ+ applications welcomed)
- Experience in conveyancing law with a solid understanding of residential and commercial property matters
- Experience with distressed or insolvency-related property transactions is advantageous
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Confidence in managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
