Imperium Commodity Search is working with a collaborative and forward thinking energy derivatives trading firm as they continue to grow. With access to cutting edge proprietary tools and the firm’s advanced trading platform, you will be responsible for navigating complex markets, strengthening the firm’s competitive position.

You will be:

  • Seeking and managing market risks effectively, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the company’s risk management frameworks.
  • Building and implementing advanced strategies across the listed commodities space.
  • Maintaining strong rapport with brokers, exchanges and other stakeholders, ensuring efficient trading operations.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements, upholding the highest standards.
  • Analysing and leveraging market trends, global macro, and regulatory changes, applying these to trading strategies and to identify opportunities.

We would love to speak to you if you have:

  • Extensive experience within an established commodity company, with a proven track record across derivatives, swaps and cleared products.
  • An understanding of trading platforms (ICE, CME).
  • A data-driven approach to create effective strategies and identify market opportunities.
  • Good knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards across global commodity trading.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering or a relevant field.
