The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the energy desk in expanding a gas brokerage desk in the UK/European markets, particularly covering the TTF/European gas space.
- Execute trades in a timely manner on behalf of an international energy client base.
- Work with the wider energy team on offering liquidity across oil, power, gas, coal, environmental, carbon, LNG etc.
- Actively generate relationships with corporate/institutional clients and promote the firm's global gas brokerage offering.
- Keep up to date with market news/analysis to provide accurate, timely and bespoke information to clients in the Euro Gas markets.
- Work with senior management on growth of the desk/business, whilst communicating with US based teams on cross-sell opportunity.
Requirements:
- Proven background and client exposure in the European Gas space.
- 3+ years experience in energy brokerage/corporate sales in derivatives.
- Excellent understanding of derivatives brokerage across options or futures.
- Desire to work in a fast growing business with a burgeoning energy offering.
- Committed and efficient with a demonstrable ability to handle work independently and support a wider desk where required.
- Excellent sales and analysis skills.
- Located in London or able to relocate.
