Imperium Commodity Search is in a unique position to offer FX and Interest Rates Brokers the opportunity to not just cross train into Commodity Brokerage in Oil and Energy Derivatives but also get the opportunity to be based in the UK, Singapore, Dubai or the US.
Working with one of the world's largest Energy & Commodities Brokerages, with offices in over 20 countries worldwide and a staggering volume of open lines, our client is able to offer immediate market access and longstanding clientele to incoming brokers to help build out their own client pipeline.
The firm provides broking and high quality, value-added execution services for Swaps, Forwards, Physical Oil, Refined Petroleum Products, Futures Contracts and Renewables.
Working with Global Desk Heads and Team leaders you will be fast tracked into opportunities in Light Ends and Distillates brokerage to support existing Team Structures globally.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- 2+ years’ experience in a broker position in FX or Interest Rates.
- Excellent communication skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Proven track record of managing multiple client types in trade execution within FX or Interest Rates.
- Accurate market analysis, reports, pricing spreads, research and industry news to the desk and counterparties.
- The ability to cross reference analysis from research houses and platforms such as Reuters, Bloomberg etc.
- A potential network of contacts/counterparties across trading houses, majors, funds, institutional clients, market makers etc.
- Strong commercial focus with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with a personable and professional communication manner.
