Imperium Commodity Search is confidentially retained by an established player in the bunker/marine fuel trading space with over 30 years in the industry as they expand their cargo trading activities in the Mediterranean Sea and ARA ports. The company has a strong presence across Europe & Asia with multiple trading offices across the globe, supported by strategic supply locations priding themselves on their quality, becoming one of the most reputable independent groups within the marine fuels business.

We are currently seeking an experienced cargo trader to bolster our client’s activities in bunker/marine fuel cargo trading in one of their existing European offices. Our client is seeking a trader who shares common values, and is looking for someone with leadership skills, who is ready to take the next step in their bunker trading career.

You will be:

  • Developing a cargo trading desk with large margins to expand and plentiful potential for growth.
  • Sourcing bunker/marine fuel grade cargoes in the Mediterranean and ARA ports.
  • Identifying client opportunities and developing new and existing relationships to facilitate bunker cargo trading activities.
  • Leveraging market news and insights to identify new opportunities and to implement new strategies.

We would love to speak to you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in bunker/marine fuel cargo trading space.
  • Network of suppliers and customers in the Cargo trading industry.
  • Leadership ability, with an appetite to expand and grow volumes and customer portfolio.
  • A solid commercial acumen, with a focus on timely and efficient expansion of the business pool.
