Summary: The Assessor is responsible for a caseload of learners participating in training. Assessors contribute to the design and delivery of learning programmes and assessments, to enable participants to successfully achieve their qualifications to include full Apprenticeship standards. Assessors liaise closely with Employers and have a key role in developing learners to achieve their learning goals and inspiring them to overcome barriers.
Role Responsibilities:
- To plan, conduct and participate in induction and initial assessment of learners to identify realistic learning priorities and, in liaison with the employer, develop individual learning plans and agree realistic completion targets.
- This will include ensuring that employers have a full understanding of the requirement for Apprentices to complete 20% off the job training.
