Job Description

Job Title: Electrician's Mate

Location: Various (Travel required)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000 – £33,000

We are currently looking for a committed and reliable Electricians Mate to support our electricians across a range of installation and maintenance projects. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to grow your career within a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
  • Prepare and organize tools, materials, and work areas
  • Pull cables, fit containment (e.g. trunking, conduit, tray), and assist with general on-site duties
  • Follow site health & safety protocols at all times
  • Work efficiently to support project deadlines
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar electrical mate or improver role
  • Good understanding of electrical systems and installations
  • IPAF (Desirable)
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
