Job Description
Job Title: Electrician's Mate
Location: Various (Travel required)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000
We are currently looking for a committed and reliable Electricians Mate to support our electricians across a range of installation and maintenance projects. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to grow your career within a supportive and professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Prepare and organize tools, materials, and work areas
- Pull cables, fit containment (e.g. trunking, conduit, tray), and assist with general on-site duties
- Follow site health & safety protocols at all times
- Work efficiently to support project deadlines
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar electrical mate or improver role
- Good understanding of electrical systems and installations
- IPAF (Desirable)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
