Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that we are working with one of our high-profile clients to appoint an EC&I Engineer on a permanent basis.

Salary: Competitive DOE

Location: Northampton

Type: Permanent

Overview of the role:

To ensure the ongoing safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical, control and instrumentation systems on a lower-tier COMAH fuel terminal. The EC&I Engineer will maintain and improve site systems to meet statutory requirements, company standards, and operational needs, while supporting safe fuel import and export operations.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on EC&I systems.
  • Troubleshoot faults in electrical distribution, instrumentation, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
  • Maintain site UPS, generators, level gauging, and overfill protection systems.

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or advanced technical apprenticeship in electrical and/or instrumentation engineering maintenance.
  • Experience in heavy industry.
