We\’re seeking a dynamic Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the museum’s ambitious ‘Transforming IWM Duxford’ project. The role involves transforming the site with new experiences, exhibitions, and facilities, creating a welcoming environment for visitors to immerse themselves in the rich history and stories of those who lived and worked there. The project also emphasizes conserving, caring for, and showcasing IWM’s extensive collection and estate. Responsibilities Working closely with the Head of Masterplan, the Project Manager will oversee various projects within the masterplan program and support research, delivery, partnerships, and stakeholder activities. Key tasks include: Delivering the Large Object Moves programme, coordinating with Preservation, Conservation, Estates, and Exhibitions teams. Supporting the long-term future of AirSpace as a dedicated Cold War and Contemporary Conflict exhibition space. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex, multi-stranded activities with meticulous planning and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
